Alex has been serving as the Director of Adult Ministries for Regular Baptist Press since August 2004. Before coming to RBP, he served as an assistant pastor for six years at Urbandale Baptist in Urbandale, Iowa. As a pastor Alex led the church’s youth and Christian education ministries.

Shortly before coming to RBP Alex served as an adjunct faculty member at Faith Baptist Bible College. He taught the course Christian Education of Adults.

While at Urbandale, Alex wrote a leader’s guide to the teaching training manual Impact Teaching. RBP later published his leader’s guide. Alex has also written the Bible study Serving God as well as several teacher training articles. In addition, he participates in training conferences helping leaders to minister to adults more effectively.
